Requirements

Candidates should possess 7+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio demonstrating process, strategic thinking, and impact, particularly in mobile-first environments, and expertise in iOS, Android, mobile web UX patterns, React Native platform conventions, and responsive design principles. They should have a track record of designing and shipping complex, data-driven digital products that solve real user problems and drive business results, along with proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, or similar. Strong systems-level thinking, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for clean, user-centric design are required, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing teams, and experience mentoring or leading other designers. Background in e-commerce, SaaS, or mobile-first product design, and direct experience building and selling e-commerce solutions are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Staff Product Designer will drive the complete design lifecycle for key product projects, transforming intricate challenges into user-friendly experiences and facilitating cross-functional workshops, design sprints, and reviews. They will provide guidance and support to fellow designers, contribute to the maintenance and advancement of the design system and UX guidelines, and keep abreast of the latest industry developments. Additionally, they will spearhead high-impact initiatives, champion mobile-first thinking, and raise the bar for design quality across the board, while collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to identify issues and deliver excellent solutions.
