Requirements

Candidates should possess a BSCS degree or equivalent experience and have over 10 years of experience working on service infrastructure. A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, SaaS application architecture, and database fundamentals is essential. Additionally, proficiency in building and deploying scalable, secure, and performant APIs, as well as experience with distributed systems and performance optimization, is required.

Responsibilities

The Staff/Principal Software Engineer will build robust application and control plane components that drive the Observe product, including API servers and authentication systems. They will design shared infrastructure components optimized for scalability, reliability, and performance. The engineer is also responsible for developing enterprise features like RBAC and IAC using Terraform, writing robust unit tests for continuous deployment, and contributing to the product vision and team planning.
