Requirements

Candidates should possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and must be registered as a pharmacist in the state where the position is located. A current and unrestricted pharmacy license is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a retail pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication dispensing, and patient counseling is essential, and the ability to interpret and apply state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations is needed.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for safely and accurately dispensing medications, providing patient counseling, and administering immunizations, while adhering to all pharmacy workflow procedures and safety protocols. You will also oversee the pharmacy team during bench shifts, providing direction and support, and coaching team members to improve performance. Additionally, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in managing pharmacy inventory, resolving insurance issues, and proactively addressing patient concerns, all while demonstrating empathy and genuine care for patients.
