Candidates must possess an active pharmacy license in the state of employment, not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List, and hold immunization certification through an accredited organization. A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy is required, and no pending felony charges are permitted.
As a Staff Pharmacist, responsibilities include supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, ensuring patient safety, adhering to pharmacy professional practice standards, meeting regulatory requirements, maintaining quality assurance, providing excellent customer service, managing personnel, overseeing inventory, contributing to financial profitability and loss prevention, and managing workflow. Additionally, the role involves leading with heart, motivating and developing colleagues, identifying business opportunities, implementing solutions, adapting to change, seeking growth, collaborating with others, and driving healthy outcomes while differentiating CVS from competitors.
