Requirements

MD (Psychiatrist) with 5+ years of experience as a clinician
2+ years of experience working in payer or partnership roles, ideally in technology environments
Industry influencer with demonstrated passion for reimagining how behavioral health is delivered and measured
Proven thought leader with peer-reviewed publications and deep expertise in the end-to-end scientific publication process
Experience in synthesizing research insights to inform strategy, drive innovation, and demonstrate scientific and organizational value
Developed or managed clinical quality measurement and peer review systems in healthcare
Effective at communicating clinical information to non-clinical staff
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and laws surrounding corporate practice
Past experience with a healthcare tech company and/or startup
Licensed in multiple states (or willing to be)

Responsibilities

Support Headway health plan partnerships and strategy
Promote external relations with Payers through relationship building, presentations, sales meetings, and conference participation
Develop a critical understanding of how mental health clinicians utilize digital tools to deliver high quality care and document in a compliant manner
Drive innovative research initiatives to generate novel insights, shape strategic direction, and develop clinical quality measurement and peer review systems
Collaborate with product, operations, and sales teams to infuse clinical strategy across the organization
Communicate clinical information to non-clinical staff and distill complex clinical processes and language to move product implementation forward
