Requirements

Solid understanding of the company's business model, products, services, and core business processes
Ability to independently review complex revenue contracts and articulate revenue position to leaders and non-finance audience
Experience with ASC 606 standards
Ability to close month-end activities accurately and timely
Experience with automation and standardization to support company growth
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Deal Desk, Operations, Revenue/Finance Systems, and FP&A
Analytical skills to evaluate and document revenue accounting treatment
Ability to partner with Sales and Deal Desk to provide revenue guidance on ASC 606
Experience with financial close processes and coordination with Accounting, Financial Reporting, FP&A
Ability to analyze revenue performance against plan and prepare ASC 606 financial statement disclosures

Responsibilities

Review and analyze complex customer contracts to evaluate and document revenue accounting treatment
Partner with Sales and Deal Desk to provide revenue guidance on ASC 606
Coordinate with Operations and Professional Services to ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue
Drive timely and accurate completion of month-end and quarter-end financial closes
Support FP&A in analysis of revenue performance against plan
Assist with preparation of required ASC 606 financial statement disclosures and responses to external auditor inquiries
Participate in streamlining existing manual revenue processes and enhancing efficiency
Assist leaders in revenue accounting team to improve the effectiveness of the monthly and quarterly revenue close cycle
Contribute to ASC 606 compliance by assisting with annual assessments of Material Rights and Standalone Selling Price (SSP)
Provide critical, time-sensitive ad-hoc financial analysis to support executive decision-making
