Requirements

Candidates should have 6+ years of experience in a Machine Learning engineering role with deep expertise in ML architecture, MLOps, feature stores, data pipelines, inference, and monitoring infrastructure using AWS managed services. They must also have 6+ years of expertise building large-scale, compliant ML architectures in the financial services or a similarly regulated industry, and 6+ years of experience using product-oriented, user experience-centered approaches to building ML platforms and services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to develop structure, advance execution, and measure performance within complex projects. A proactive and strategic mindset, a strong bias toward action, high ethical standards, and a BS degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will support the technical vision and development of ML infrastructure to enable end-to-end ML model development and delivery. They will collaborate with Machine Learning Science, Product, and Engineering teams to refine ML development journeys, improve ML architecture, and drive technical design decisions. Responsibilities include creating infrastructure for prototyping, data and feature pipeline development, model training, deployment, and monitoring on AWS. The role involves maintaining operational excellence, driving best practices, and operating ML capabilities within SLAs. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to drive governance, security, and management best practices, and provide career mentorship and guidance to team members.
