Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master’s or PhD degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. They must have at least 8 years of experience in software development, with demonstrated proficiency in Rust, Python, or C++. Strong debugging, performance analysis, and test design skills are essential, along with experience in high-scale distributed systems and ML systems. Familiarity with deep learning algorithms and frameworks, particularly Large Language Models such as PyTorch, TensorRT, and ONNX Runtime, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

As a Senior System Software Engineer, the individual will develop open source software to serve inference of trained AI models running on GPUs, balancing objectives such as building robust, scalable, and high-performance software components, prioritizing features with team leads, load-balancing asynchronous requests, optimizing prediction throughput, and integrating the latest open source technology. They will also work with cloud services using HTTP REST, gRPC, protobuf, JSON, and related technologies, and contribute to the efficient implementation of AI systems based on the latest research.
