Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, and have at least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on machine learning. Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in the areas of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), is essential. Familiarity with LLMs and vision models is required, along with experience building infrastructure for training and inference.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and integration of Generative AI solutions within Firefox, collaborating with product management, full stack engineering, and design teams. You will build infrastructure for training and inference of LLMs and small language and vision models, implement robust validation and testing procedures, and contribute to safe and healthy machine learning experiences. Furthermore, you will mentor other engineers, provide feedback on team strategy, and identify opportunities for improvement to foster a culture of inclusion and allyship.
