As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer in the Construction Intelligence division, you will contribute to smarter workflows, improved efficiency, and enhanced decision-making for construction teams globally. Responsibilities

• Interact directly with customers to understand their business problems and assist in defining and implementing scalable ML/DL solutions.
• Research, develop, and implement state-of-the-art AI and ML solutions for scalable production deployment.
• Collaborate and coordinate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other key product stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and architecture for new features and enhancements.
• Drive advancements in AI technology, ensuring Procore remains at the leading edge.
• Communicate effectively, sharing results and ideas clearly with customers, managers, and key decision-makers.
• Foster a healthy and inclusive team environment, provide technical guidance to other engineers, and act as a mentor.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of Python experience focused on scalable, maintainable code.
• ML Frameworks: Experience in training and deploying models using PyTorch and TensorFlow (including YOLOv8-v11, Transformers, Mask R-CNN, DETR, and Swin Transformers).
• LLMs & NLP: Proficient in fine-tuning LLMs, VLMs, and NLP technologies for specialized applications.
• ML Workflows: Skilled in designing workflows for data collection, annotation, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Distributed Training: Proficient in distributed GPU training with CUDA and cuDNN for multi-GPU systems.
• Deployment & Cloud: Proficient in containerization, microservices, and deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Tools & Technologies: Strong knowledge of Ray for distributed execution, ArgoCD for GitOps workflows, and Kubernetes for managing ML applications.
• CI/CD: Proficient in Git and building robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
• Monitoring: Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, and Sumo Logic for system reliability and performance.
• Agile: Solid understanding of Agile practices with a proven track record of delivering iterative, high-quality results.
