Requirements

  • Master’s in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience in advanced robotics or automation systems
  • Minimum 3 years of experience (typical: 5+ years with Bachelor’s; 3 years with Master’s; PhD; or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience leading large-scale Field Applications Engineering or Solution Architecture

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers to align system capabilities with operational needs and design site-specific solutions
  • Travel up to 50% to customer sites to oversee site-level solution architecture and commissioning of robotic systems
  • Implement scalable solutions for individual integrations and customer account growth
  • Manage network infrastructure and configuration for system connectivity
  • Monitor system performance, perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues
  • Provide comprehensive customer training and support, including creating specialized materials
  • Lead technical projects to enhance integration efficiency, standardize processes, and drive continuous improvement
  • Support early-stage testing and integration of new products
  • Gather, systematize, and convey customer feedback to internal teams; champion product enhancements
  • Work with product and engineering teams to steer customer-focused solutions
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations
  • Develop Statements of Work (SOWs) and customer success documentation
  • Serve as subject matter expert on products, resolving complex issues and providing technical input for development and roadmaps
  • Lead creation of complex SOWs for customized, large-scale solutions
  • Deliver advanced training to internal teams and customers
  • Develop and prototype advanced integration solutions using API/SDK; create custom tools
  • Partner with Product and Systems Engineering to capture requirements and feedback from field experiences
  • Rapidly identify system roadblocks, isolate root causes, and advance solutions to meet timelines
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary technical assignments
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to FAEs and engineers; drive process improvements and best practices
  • Lead technical go-to-market efforts for new products, including customer relationships, pilot programs, feedback gathering, and field testing
