Responsibilities

Partner with Engineering Managers and Architects to shape and refine technical roadmaps aligned with team goals
Ensure architectural consistency and scalability across domains
Represent engineering in discussions, balancing technical trade-offs with product needs
Collaborate across teams to resolve complex technical bottlenecks
Lead or advise on design reviews, architectural discussions, and implementation planning
Support projects that span multiple teams or services
Participate in incident management and root cause analysis, driving long-term preventative solutions
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and developer efficiency
Promote best practices in observability, CI/CD, testing, and deployment
Reassess and adapt technical plans to evolving product or organizational needs
Balance short-term delivery with long-term architectural health
Mentor engineers, encouraging a culture of learning and new ideas
Ensure systems are designed for reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Address technical debt and modernization opportunities
Partner with QA and DevSecOps to uphold performance, security, and compliance standards
