Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a similarly scoped role, having owned the design and strategy for an organization’s enterprise technology
  • Ready and excited to step into a high-impact role and solve complex, large-scale challenges on day one
  • Architectural Vision: Led the design of large-scale, complex enterprise systems; can articulate technical trade-offs, define long-term architectural roadmaps, and ensure technology choices align with business needs

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term enterprise technology roadmap and vision, focusing on how emerging technologies, especially AI, enhance productivity and innovation
  • Evaluate existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend new technologies supporting future business needs
  • Design the structure of IT systems, networks, hardware, and software to ensure scalability, security, and interoperability, including infrastructure for enterprise AI strategy
  • Own, establish, and enforce a change advisory board, standards, and governance policies for system development, including ethical and secure use of AI and emerging technologies
  • Work with stakeholders from executive leadership to technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into business terms and communicating business vision/requirements to developers and engineers
  • Ensure enterprise technology aligns with strategic goals and business requirements
  • Define architectural standards and evaluate new technologies
  • Act as the bridge between high-level business strategy and technical implementation of IT systems
