Requirements

  • 7 to 9 years of experience, including minimum 3 years in the medical device industry
  • Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or similar domain
  • Strong proficiency in applying GD&T standards (ISO and ASME) within CAD environments
  • Solid understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, preferably in orthopaedics
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as PTC Windchill
  • Hands-on experience in executing product changes via ECRs/ECNs
  • Good knowledge of design control processes and Design History File (DHF) documentation
  • Preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps)
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, especially Creo from PTC
  • Exposure to requirements management tools like Jama

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update CAD models and technical drawings
  • Collaborate closely with New Product Development (NPD) teams, including participation in drawing reviews
  • Review and manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Take ownership of ECR/ECN execution for legacy products
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support Power BI dashboards
  • Act as the global point of contact, independently managing customer communications
  • Prioritize tasks and manage projects effectively, aligning with timelines and available resources
