Responsibilities

  • Scope, plan, and lead large-scale technical initiatives aligned with business priorities and product roadmaps
  • Anticipate risks, identify innovation opportunities, and guide technical decision-making for long-term impact
  • Design, build, and optimize scalable systems across the full stack (frontend: React, TypeScript; backend: Node.js)
  • Deliver production-grade features end-to-end, maintaining performance, security, and reliability at scale
  • Improve and maintain codebases with clean architecture, best practices in testing/deployment, and strong CI/CD pipelines
  • Debug and resolve complex issues across systems and services as the go-to expert
  • Implement and advocate for strong application and infrastructure security practices
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and deliver user-delighting solutions
  • Communicate technical and non-technical ideas clearly to stakeholders and teammates
  • Act as a technical mentor, coaching engineers and fostering collaboration and learning
  • Stay current on emerging tools/frameworks/methods and experiment with new technologies (e.g., AI/ML), sharing learnings
  • Promote continuous improvement practices to enhance speed, quality, and developer experience
