Requirements

  • BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent degree
  • At least 10 years of automotive or aerospace engineering experience
  • Experience with automotive EE system-level communication (CAN, LIN) and power distribution architectures
  • Demonstrated release of hardware products with firmware/software dependencies
  • Hardware and software integration experience

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design of complex low-voltage and high-speed wiring harnesses using CATIA V5/V6, ensuring quality, compliance, and manufacturability
  • Define and manage processes for device transmittals, schematics, and 3D harness routing across the product lifecycle
  • Develop best practices and provide technical guidance to junior engineers to continuously improve electrical distribution design methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define low-voltage distribution system requirements, endpoints and interfaces
  • Lead supplier engagements and drive continuous improvement within the electrical engineering function
