Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with advanced degrees preferred. They must demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Python, with R experience being a plus. Strong expertise in deploying machine learning models to production is required, along with a broad understanding of data science algorithms such as Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Naive Bayes, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, K-Means, K-Nearest Neighbors, and Dimensionality Reduction.
The Staff Data Scientist will utilize a diverse set of algorithms to solve intricate problems, leading efforts in designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models to improve health engagement platforms and produce significant outcomes. They will collaborate with colleagues from various backgrounds to convert complex data insights into actionable strategies, drive improvements, and support Omada Health’s objectives. The role also encompasses showcasing a track record of deploying machine learning models into production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration with systems, and demonstrating the business impact of their models by quantifying improvements and measurable outcomes.
