Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline, and have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. Strong experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques is essential. Familiarity with modern data stacks, including Snowflake, DBT, and Looker, is required, along with experience working with diverse data sources such as APIs, flat files, and databases like PostgreSQL. Experience ensuring data security and compliance, particularly under regulations like HIPAA, FERPA, and SOC2, is also necessary.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for building and managing data pipelines, designing and implementing data warehouse models, and establishing robust, scalable data infrastructure using modern tooling. You will also contribute to refining analytics architecture, leveraging data to drive better care decisions and support student wellbeing, and collaborating closely with product, engineering, and operational teams to understand and address complex data challenges. Furthermore, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability, and creating measurable positive outcomes for our partners.
