Candidates should possess 8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related industries. Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, artificial intelligence, and optimization techniques is required, along with proficiency in Python, Java, and SQL. Hands-on knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (Spark) and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn are also necessary. Solid understanding of operations research and optimization algorithms, combined with experience working with large-scale data pipelines (KStreams, Delta Lake, Redshift, Athena) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), is expected. A Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred.
As a Staff Data Scientist, you will collaborate with a team to develop cutting-edge AI-driven solutions, focusing on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to tackle complex supply chain challenges. You will design, implement, and deploy scalable AI-powered products, building robust machine learning models that impact the global logistics ecosystem. Responsibilities include developing predictive models to optimize supply chain operations and route planning, designing and implementing machine learning solutions for real-time logistics decision-making, analyzing large datasets to identify patterns and inefficiencies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions, leading technical strategy and mentoring junior data scientists, building and optimizing algorithms for ETAs and shipment tracking, and developing data pipelines and feature engineering strategies. Furthermore, you will communicate insights to senior leadership and stay updated on the latest trends in AI/ML and data science applications in logistics.
