Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (MS preferred) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a highly quantitative STEM field, with 8+ years of experience in Data Science and ML roles. A solid foundation in statistics, machine learning, and causal inference is required, along with proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and experience with data platforms and statistical modeling libraries. Experience in a fast-paced company, driving projects from start to finish, a growth mindset, and comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences are also essential. Bonus skills include 2+ years in marketing attribution, MMM, experimentation, or related measurement challenges, experience developing and validating production models, and familiarity with MLOps practices and data pipeline orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

The Staff Data Scientist will support new and existing data science-powered products, contributing to forecasting and experimentation capabilities to improve model accuracy and expand measurement coverage. This role involves explaining statistical concepts to customers, troubleshooting measurement issues, gathering feedback for product enhancement, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements. Additionally, the Staff Data Scientist will provide technical expertise and support for both non-technical internal and external stakeholders.
