They also support GivePower, a nonprofit building clean electricity and water systems. The team is seeking a Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines and support their enterprise data warehouse. This role requires close collaboration with various teams including Analytics & Reporting, Origination Platform engineers, and AI developers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement data integrations across the organization and with business applications.
  • Develop and maintain data-oriented web applications with scalable web services.
  • Participate in the design and development of projects, either independently or in a team.
  • Utilize agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
  • Be the data stewards of the organization, upholding quality and availability standards for downstream consumers.
  • Be self-sufficient and fully own the responsibility of executing projects from inception to delivery.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, including pair programming and skills development.
  • Participate in data design and architecture discussions, considering solutions in the context of the larger GoodLeap ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of full-time Data Analysis and/or Software Development experience.
  • Experience with an end-to-end reporting & analytics technology: data warehousing (SQL, NoSQL) to BI.
