Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with architecting, developing, and operating cloud solutions on AWS, in-depth knowledge of AWS networking, and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform. Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or similar, and experience with at least one scripting language like Bash. Experience working in an agile environment and a strong DevOps mindset are also required. Nice to have includes AWS DynamoDB or OpenSearch, AWS Solution Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, or other relevant AWS certifications, experience with distributed application architecture, and experience with OpenSearch.

Responsibilities

As a Staff Cloud Engineer, you will develop, enhance, and operate cloud solutions on AWS with a focus on automation, high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. You will participate in defining novel cloud solution designs and leading their development, working in sprints with cross-functional teams to deliver new features into production. You will collaborate with other squads to ensure solutions fit into the Sonar platform, contribute to investigations of alarms, SLOs, and incidents, and participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical system issues. You will also take initiative and lead subjects from beginning to end, embracing change and complexity while maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude.
