Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Data Science or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years of composite data experience is required, with at least 4 years specifically in analytics engineering, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver high-quality data models and reporting assets. Advanced proficiency in dbt (Cloud or Core) and expert SQL skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of Kimball-style dimensional modeling and performance tuning in cloud warehouses like Redshift. Hands-on experience with BI tools, particularly Looker, including explore and dashboard development and LookML configuration, is necessary. A product mindset focused on enabling others through reusable data assets is also a key requirement.

Responsibilities

Staff Analytics Engineers will design trusted, scalable data models using dbt, Redshift, Looker, and Hex to support insights for patient engagement and clinical operations. They will collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, product managers, and operational leaders to translate complex questions into data solutions. This role involves driving process and technical architecture improvements with company-wide impact, building and maintaining a clean, well-documented analytics layer, and potentially contributing to data platform or governance initiatives.
