Requirements

8+ years of experience working with large-scale data in a modern tech environment
Proven track record writing clean, performant, and scalable queries
6+ years of experience with Snowflake or BigQuery and advanced modeling techniques
2+ years of experience using dbt or Spark-based data pipelines
Proficient in Python with comfort across diverse data structures and serialization formats
Experience with data modeling, data vault, and dimensional modeling
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data governance
Experience with auditing, validation, and discovery tooling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with dbt or Spark-based data pipelines
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Design and maintain performant, reliable data models and pipelines to enable self-service analytics, flexible querying, and advanced data science use cases
Partner with stakeholders to establish clear, documented, company-wide data definitions that ensure consistent reporting and decision-making
Develop internal tooling for auditing, validation, and discovery that makes data easy to use correctly—and difficult to misuse
Ensure quality and consistency by translating complex business logic into accurate, trustworthy datasets
Collaborate with the Data Platform team to enhance scale and performance
Serve as a data steward and subject-matter expert for key business domains, championing best practices for data modeling and pipeline development
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams to build a trusted, company-wide data foundation
Participate in the interview process, providing thoughtful and respectful feedback to improve the candidate experience
