Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and have at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing/retail or high-growth eCommerce/CPG environment. Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Bill.com is required, with MS Dynamics experience being a plus. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite are essential, along with excellent communication abilities, the capacity to manage multiple tasks under deadlines, and a proactive attitude towards assisting the team.
Responsibilities
The Staff Accountant will assist with journal entries for operating expenses, manage schedules for accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets, and support month-end and year-end closing processes. Responsibilities include performing cross-departmental reconciliations, maintaining detailed cost records, categorizing bank transactions, reconciling cash accounts, and managing vendor reconciliations and AP inquiries.
