Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, and preferably have at least one year of relevant work experience. They should demonstrate strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to handle large volumes of data with high accuracy. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and familiarity with Coupa are considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
As a Staff Accountant, the individual will be responsible for preparing all reconciliations for the month-end close, creating and posting journal entries during the closing process, coordinating with third parties regarding payment status, monitoring the flow of invoices through the accounts payable system, reviewing the AP Subledger, and addressing ad hoc issues. They will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely payments and proper invoice classification and approval.
