Requirements

  • Understanding and experience with research methods such as interviews, focus groups, workshops, usability testing, card sorting, surveys, etc
  • Experience using relevant tools for research analysis (e.g. Qualtrics, Dovetail, Excel, R) to expert level
  • Experience conducting discovery (or generative) research, which focuses on understanding user needs, motivations and behaviours to identify opportunities and areas for innovation
  • Demonstrated experience applying appropriate statistical methods to research questions
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively present research findings to diverse audiences
  • Experience and demonstrable understanding of the nuances of researching in different contexts (remote / in person / unmoderated / moderated)
  • Bilingual English and French
  • Degree in human factors, psychology, design, anthropology, or other relevant subject area
  • Experience using the Jobs to Be Done framework
  • Experience with Generative AI
  • Understanding of the Canadian legal system

  • Creates use cases, anchored in research insights, and prioritizes via users
  • Recruits independently and conducts work compliantly
  • Mentors more junior researchers
