Responsibilities

  • Represent Gilead's Oncology products and services to a defined customer base in the East LA territory
  • Generate and grow sales, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through in-person representation and face-to-face meetings with healthcare practitioners
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships with healthcare practices, key customers, accounts, and key opinion leaders
  • Provide timely delivery of disease awareness information, clinical updates, and education on healthcare changes
  • Prepare a business plan for the territory to achieve goals and initiate systems to monitor sales progress and action plans
  • Identify patient pathways within oncology offices and facilitate patient access to treatment
  • Promote assigned products to targeted oncologists and office staff, in-servicing all staff on safe and appropriate drug administration, and awareness of Gilead patient services
  • Partner with Medical Scientists, Marketing, and Market Access on cross-functional projects to drive sales and patient adoption
  • Demonstrate leadership among peers by modeling compliance, behavior, and conduct
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues and opportunities, communicating proactively to Marketing and Sales management
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks promptly, such as updating customer database and expenses
  • Ensure compliance with Gilead commercial compliance policy, all applicable federal and state laws, and guidance relating to product promotion
