Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Statistics, Engineering, or related fields (Master’s or PhD preferred)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in product management, product marketing, commercialization, or strategic consulting
  • Experience with oncology products, diagnostics, or medical devices, particularly in molecular testing or somatic biomarker testing, is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of leading product management initiatives in the life sciences or biotech industry

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for the Altera tumor genomic profiling product line
  • Prioritize new features and initiatives, balancing customer needs and operational constraints
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Molecular Biology R&D, Software Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Clinical/Medical, Operations, Regulatory, and Business Development, to ensure successful product execution
  • Oversee product performance, identify key metrics, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement strategies
  • Analyze performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement changes to improve product quality, efficiency, and market competitiveness
  • Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to inform product development and support growth
  • Leverage market insights to validate new features, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure product-market fit
  • Identify new business opportunities and create financial models to support product initiatives and strategic investments
  • Develop comprehensive business cases that align with company objectives and present data-driven strategies to senior leadership for alignment and buy-in
  • Collaborate with Marketing to define product positioning, develop market launch strategies, and create compelling marketing collateral
  • Communicate the product vision, progress, and roadmap updates regularly to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless collaboration between departments to achieve business objectives
