Requirements

The Sr. Technical Program Manager, Data Privacy & Compliance requires experience in building and managing complex, highly technical, multi-disciplinary programs, with a strong understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements. This role necessitates collaboration with legal counsel, business leaders, and technical partners across various departments including Engineering, Legal, Business Applications, IT, Marketing, Trust & Safety, Data Science, Finance, HR, Sales, Service, and Partnerships. The candidate should be able to develop data privacy program strategies, drive planning, and prioritize initiatives to support those strategies.

Responsibilities

This position involves partnering with stakeholders to develop comprehensive plans, manage cross-team dependencies, and implement scalable tools and processes for data privacy, including privacy reviews, integration of privacy-by-design principles, and training. The role requires establishing company-wide awareness and adoption of data privacy practices, evaluating opportunities for process improvement and automation, and staying current with privacy regulations, tools, and technologies. Additionally, the Sr. Technical Program Manager will contribute to and lead related GRC activities and escalate issues as needed.
