Requirements

Candidates should possess a Master's degree and at least five years of experience as a Data Scientist in a high-growth technology company, demonstrating proficiency in writing complex SQL queries using Hive or Presto, and strong programming skills in Python or R. They should have experience with machine learning and statistical modeling, coupled with a passion for model evaluation and applications, and a solid understanding of experimental design, testing, and analysis.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Product Data Scientist will collaborate with leadership, product, design, and engineering teams to identify and launch strategic data science initiatives aimed at improving Pro software performance, ensuring product areas meet expectations, and driving better customer experience. They will define key metrics (KPIs) to guide business decision-making, design and execute product experiments, interpret results, conduct root cause analysis, and provide recommendations for product ideation and feature launch decisions. Additionally, they will work with data infrastructure and product engineering teams to define data collection needs and assist with quick product decisions, while also owning the end-to-end execution of projects and mentoring junior data scientists.
