Requirements

  • Senior Software Product Owner with 8+ years of experience in Agile and Stakeholder Management
  • Worked in a dynamic environment handling multiple projects in parallel
  • Previous Medical Domain experience preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Product Owner managing stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of software development processes & functional use cases
  • Practical knowledge of Product and its use cases
  • Readiness to understand and enhance the product functionally
  • Excellent in stakeholder management
  • Experienced in managing teams with end-to-end product accountability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Handled dynamic work environment with flexibility in playing multiple roles
  • Proven track record of building effective, collaborative relationships
  • Instrumental in engaging and driving process changes
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification (must); Certified Scrum Master is a plus
  • Strong leadership abilities to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering
  • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones
  • Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically through advanced education and experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligning with business goals and customer needs
  • Clearly communicate the product vision to the scrum team and ensure alignment with business strategic objectives
  • Collaborate with global Product Owner to manage the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed by working with architects/scrum team members
  • Write clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and other relevant documentation
  • Translate high-level strategy/product direction into work breakdown and prioritization for the backlog
  • Continuously refine and prioritize the backlog based on changing requirements, marketing feedback, and technical feasibility
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business unit stakeholders and the scrum team
  • Gather and translate business requirements into product features and functionality in collaboration with global Product Owner
  • Regularly communicate progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master and scrum team during sprint planning, ensuring high-priority tasks are selected
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide guidance and clarity on product requirements
  • Ensure the development team fully understands features and delivers high-quality, customer-focused products
  • Identify product risks early and drive mitigation strategies
  • Define and track product backlog readiness and make data-driven decisions for future improvements
  • Maintain a complete overview of quality standards and guide the team accordingly
