Requirements

  • BS, BA or equivalent experience
  • 4-7 years of related experience in enterprise software testing
  • Experienced in both manual and automation testing
  • Preferred automation tools experience: Katalon and Web Driver IO
  • Familiarity with manual and automated testing software and tools
  • Experience testing software on mobile platforms
  • Experience in an Agile development environment
  • Strong analytics and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Hands-on knowledge of QA automation (definite plus)
  • Amazon Cloud automation and DevOps experience (definite plus)
  • Ability to provide leadership to project teams and to junior staff (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior test designer and contributor to software quality in a fast-paced, Agile development process
  • Review Product Requirement documents and Engineering Functional Specifications, define test strategy, and scope test effort as part of regular planning cycle
  • Help set the direction, process, and general test methodology for parallel development of the software and automated test suite
  • Work with the software engineering team to resolve issues arising in the test process
  • Develop and maintain innovative, repeatable QA test plans based on functional requirements, use cases, user interface designs, system design documents and domain knowledge
  • Work with QA team members, software developers and system and database administrators to trouble-shoot test failures in various test environments (e.g., using SQL queries, reviewing web server and application server logs)
  • Provide Team Leadership or Technical Leadership
  • Comply with timely completion of training and documentation
