Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 7+ years of full-time experience as a service-oriented backend developer. They should have at least 5+ years of experience developing microservices for a SaaS product using languages such as Golang, Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, or Node.js, and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems. United States Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for access to AWS GovCloud.
As a Sr. Software Engineer, the individual will develop and maintain services to meet reliability and scalability demands, enhance monitoring services, extend and build new libraries for cross-cutting concerns within CrowdStrike’s cloud platform, re-evaluate the product to improve architecture and performance, use and contribute to the open-source community, evangelize best practices for software development, brainstorm and build collaboratively with teams, mentor other developers, update OSS dependencies, and be an energetic self-starter with accountability for deliverables.
