Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proficiency in GoLang OR Java OR Python
- Ability to work onsite 4 days a week in Chicago, IL or Reston, VA
Responsibilities
- Be a leader in a specific technical field, developing the technical roadmap and promoting continuous optimization
- Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leadership to gather requirements
- Interface with global engineering teams/components when necessary
- Extensively use cutting-edge technologies to increase workflow flexibility and API responsiveness
- Develop technical/case design documentation
- Actively participate in technical and testing design review
- Implement software solutions according to engineering standards
- Develop and implement Unit Tests, Regression Tests, and Automation tests based on test case design
- Implement integration tests that span across component teams
- Actively participate in code review
- Incorporate appropriate instrumentation, monitoring, and alert mechanisms into the software
- Ensure delivered software solutions are always up and available; Handle product alerts and provide support
- Implement bug fixes when necessary
- Upgrade components, libraries, infrastructure, etc., as necessary
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s), and overtime as necessary
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
