Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and a minimum of five years of professional technical experience. They should have experience working with cloud infrastructure utilizing tools such as Ansible or Terraform, along with strong programming skills in languages like Go or Python, and the ability to think about systems in terms of potential failure modes and bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Site Reliability Engineer will write high-quality infrastructure-as-code to automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, scaling, and monitoring, ensuring reliability and performance. They will write maintainable code for product functionality with a focus on operations, scale, resiliency, and monitoring, working with other engineers to design well-monitored services with defined SLIs and SLOs. SREs will debug production issues, mitigate them quickly, and implement preventative measures, maintain runbooks through automation, proactively track capacity and quotas, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to address product availability issues and customer escalations. Additionally, they will collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure proper cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.
