Requirements

They require knowledge of Oracle Argus safety system configuration, database structure, mappings, and transformation rules, along with strong SQL programming skills and experience generating reports. Demonstrated experience in safety data migrations and a solid understanding of relational database structures are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Sr Programmer Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert for day-to-day application configuration and maintenance of the Pharmacovigilance (PV) Safety database Oracle Argus, ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and regulations. They will collaborate with PV business users to understand requirements, create custom reports, troubleshoot user queries, support system upgrades, and assist in the development of SOPs. Additionally, they will manage changes to the database, lead data migration projects, provide programming support to project teams, and contribute to process development and improvement while also managing assignment timelines and providing estimates for bidding activities.
