Candidates should have 15+ years of experience in program or portfolio management for software development, with a proven track record in planning, organizing, managing, and tracking engineering work involving multiple complex dependencies at scale for over 100 engineers. Experience in scaling and leading geographically distributed scrum teams, familiarity with large-scale cloud platforms and complex interdependent technologies, and expert dependency and risk management skills are also required. A willingness to travel several times per quarter, both locally and internationally, is necessary.
The Sr. Program Manager will directly support and engage in the projects of the UI Foundations Product Group, focusing on driving the scheduling, scoping, and execution of projects. This involves partnering with developers, product managers, designers, and engineering managers to ensure timely delivery against the roadmap, and collaborating across global teams in Europe and the United States to manage dependencies and resolve critical issues. Responsibilities include facilitating communication at all levels, demonstrating technical fluency aligned with business objectives, creating and driving project schedules, managing task assignments and progress, identifying and explaining project involvement to worldwide business units, proactively tracking project status and ensuring schedules and priorities are met, identifying and escalating critical issues, managing daily/weekly project communication and status reporting, and coordinating work across different time zones.
