Requirements

Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. They should also possess proficiency in containerization (Docker), orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions), and familiarity with feature flagging tools. Strong scripting skills in Bash and programming knowledge in Java/Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript are required, along with experience in cloud security best practices and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

The Senior Platform Engineer will architect and maintain scalable, self-service cloud infrastructure leveraging IaC and containerization/orchestration for reliable core services, build and standardize CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks to optimize development workflows, implement comprehensive automation for provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring to maximize operational efficiency, proactively ensure platform reliability, performance, and security through monitoring, alerting, and robust incident response, create and maintain thorough documentation of platform architecture and operational procedures, research and recommend new technologies to advance platform capabilities and improve the developer experience, develop and support standard libraries and packages to promote code consistency and efficiency across teams, and partner with product and engineering teams to drive successful outcomes.
