Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in mechanical design and development of high-volume consumer electronic products
  • 3+ years experience as ME technical leader to define, plan and monitor ME activities of technical or NPI projects
  • Plus experience: coaching junior ME to provide technical direction or guidance, and managing ME crisis

Responsibilities

  • Execute new gaming product as a technical leader through feasibility study, mechanical design, risk analysis, validation to ensure project goal, cost and schedule are met, even exceeded
  • Mechanical engineering technology research and development: Dig out the internal and external customers’ needs, create technology roadmap, communicate with stakeholders, get to alignment, manage technology projects
  • As a consultant to provide mechanical engineering expertise in hardware specification, design, and issue investigation
  • Communication and coordination with suppliers, internal and external customers to develop and refine the product mechanical design and development process covering from defining product engineering specifications, design, prototyping, qualification till mass production
  • Partner and collaborate with other functions (PM, EE, CMF, and so on) in the China Gaming team to achieve seamless product design and development
