Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain, or related field
  • Licensed to operate picker truck, stand-up truck, tugger, sit-down truck, walkie/rider, and electric pallet truck
  • Basic understanding of SAP and use of weigh scales
  • Ability to perform simple math (add, subtract whole numbers)
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance (environmental condition; also up to 35 lbs. for pallets)
  • Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers)
  • Availability for third shift (10:30pm - 7:00am, Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities

  • Operate all PIT equipment including picker truck, stand-up truck, tugger, sit-down truck, walkie/rider, and electric pallet truck
  • Operate RF and PC units performing functions in the SAP ERP system
  • Perform stock handling, shipping, receiving, tugger driver, mail/label room, or any other task as required
  • Promptly move components and finished goods from staging areas to stock locations
  • Deliver purchased and manufactured components to manufacturing areas using standardized tugger routes and pull systems
  • Load material on tugger carts based on pull system rules/guidelines
  • Pick up finished goods from manufacturing areas and deliver to warehouse for storage or staging
  • Verify production move tickets, return to stock forms, Goods Receipts forms for accuracy of quantities, descriptions, catalog numbers, and lot numbers when required
  • Fill line location replenishment reports for production, Purchase Order pick lists for vendors, and miscellaneous issue forms for internal use
  • Fill component-picking bays and markets when empty
  • Rotate and consolidate stock as necessary
  • Fill out cycle count sheets when inventory accuracy errors are found
  • Perform stock handling assignments to utilize warehouse and market space efficiently
  • Observe all safety rules to prevent injury
  • Keep warehouse and market areas neat and orderly
  • Wrap, load, and issue product to truck locations for sterilization and complete necessary paperwork
  • Maintain proper safety procedures and housekeeping (racks, aisles, staging floor)
  • Follow all quality work instructions (QWIs) as defined in NNI’s ISO system
  • Perform any other task as requested by supervisor
