Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all safety, quality, operational and security, and people aspects at the Singapore manufacturing site
  • Lead all phases of manufacturing and technical functions to advance existing technology and produce the highest quality products
  • Collaborate with leaders from various businesses and functions within the Asia China Region Manufacturing
  • Embrace innovation, lead transformation, and continuous improvement to drive business performance through alignment of people, strategy, and culture
  • Leverage MPS (Medtronic Performance System) to establish Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) targets, select key initiatives and projects, and collaborate with Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) Operating Unit and Global Supply Chain for breakthrough objectives and capacity planning
  • Lead and build winning teams to build products in a safe working environment with the highest quality and speed at optimal cost
  • Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive operations strategies assuring organizational success and accountability for safety, quality, production, cost, and people
  • Plan and administer budgets, including budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor
  • Implement cost reduction, waste reduction, quality improvement, and productivity improvement programs to attain key performance metrics and sustainable improvements
  • Represent Medtronic in the community and professional organizations at a local or regional level
