Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a clinical diagnostics or life sciences industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage a portfolio of complex projects
  • Structure projects in line with client strategy, including identifying needs, establishing goals, and defining resources requirements
  • Proactively diagnose project challenges and develop solutions
  • Effectively define, track, and manage budgets and revisions to reflect scope changes
  • Understand customer contract terms and conditions and negotiate with clients
  • Perform and interpret comprehensive need analyses to understand customer's target market and value proposition
  • Communicate Thermo Fisher's value proposition in relation to the competition
  • Lead projects efficiently in different systems and maintain accountability for individual and team outcomes
  • Advance the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes, procedures, and outputs
  • Seek mentorship and guidance to drive personal development and strengthen project management skills
  • Communicate information in a timely manner and ensure all communications are clear and focused
  • Facilitate alignment on timelines among cross-functional teams and take ownership for project results
