Responsibilities
Representing the patient perspective in communication with internal functions
Overall responsibility and strategic leadership, evaluation, and development of patient support programs
Management of inbound services and support centers across indicated areas (currently rare diseases and Multiple Sclerosis)
Ownership of PSP Germany, including development, oversight, evaluation, and leadership of patient support programs
Development of innovative patient services aligned with medical needs and co-creation with patients
Cross-functional coordination and development of adherence-promoting measures and initiatives
Therapies safety and monitoring
Evaluation and publication of results
Further development and expansion of services with digital components
Collaboration with international Biogen functions and potentially piloting adherence solutions in rare diseases
Patient Service Awareness (internal/external)
Supporting measures to increase understanding and promotion of patient service offerings among patients, caregivers, physicians, nurses, and pharmacists
Biogen internal measures to understand, contact, and familiarize with offerings
Continuous communication with functions, especially in the field
