Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of the logistics strategy for investigational medicinal products (IMPs), ensuring strict compliance with GDP and international regulations
Drive innovation by introducing best practices and new concepts to optimize logistics operations and boost efficiency through the deployment of global standard services
Continuously improve operational methods and procedures to streamline processes and elevate performance
Manage outsourced distribution for clinical Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Drug Products (DP), ensuring seamless execution, working in partnership with Gilead’s external partners
Maintain precise documentation and reporting to demonstrate operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance
Source, evaluate, and onboard contractors, services, and suppliers essential to logistics operations
Track market trends to sustain a competitive and dependable vendor network
Collaborate with cross-functional managers and external partners to ensure integrated global operations
Train and mentor team members, fostering collaboration to achieve shared organizational goals
Ensure full compliance with global regulatory standards across all logistics activities
Prepare for and support audits and inspections, maintaining readiness and adherence to quality benchmarks
Resolve complex challenges using sound judgment and data-driven decision-making
Design and implement work processes and evaluation criteria to maximize operational outcomes
Apply advanced logistics expertise to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
Champion a culture of innovation, leading initiatives that enhance logistics capabilities and performance
