Requirements

  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management
  • Ability to manage and supervise senior Financial Analysts, including coaching, development, and workflow prioritization
  • Strong analytical skills for variance analysis, economic evaluations, capital expenditure justifications, and emerging financial trends
  • Proficiency in preparing presentations, reports, and statistical studies for management
  • Technical liaison capabilities with accounting, finance teams, sales, and call center management
  • Knowledge of business unit Profit & Loss, project costing, headcount planning, and strategic business analysis
  • Ability to lead process improvement initiatives and develop business metrics
  • Exercise of independent judgment and discretion in significant matters
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; flexibility for nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage analysis of actual results against planned objectives, presenting data clearly for action plans
  • Manage preparation of presentations to management on actual results, budgets, and forecasts
  • Prepare and review budget materials; analyze emerging financial trends
  • Assist in preparation of statistical studies for other areas
  • Compare financial results to planned/forecasted results, explain variances, and recommend future actions
  • Analyze ongoing profitability of new businesses and/or programs
  • Serve as technical liaison providing financial planning, information, modeling, activity analysis, and variance analysis
  • Supervise, coach, develop, and prioritize workflow for senior Financial Analysts
  • Perform and critique economic evaluation justifications for capital expenditures
  • Interact with Finance team, sales, and call center management for daily, monthly, and annual forecasts/reports, including project costing, P&L presentations, variances, and headcount planning
  • Support senior management in business analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and business metrics development
  • Other duties as assigned
