Requirements

  • Leadership and strategy experience for IT professionals supporting Quality Non-Complaints, LMS (Learning Management), DMS (Document Management), and Global Engineering Systems (GES)
  • Experience in definition, development, implementation, operation, and support of computer-based systems and related processes/tools for reporting, operations, and decision-making
  • Ability to create and manage strategies and architectural frameworks in partnership with Divisional BRMs
  • Expertise in aligning priorities, determining critical success factors, evaluating initiatives, investments, and opportunities
  • Skills in championing change, innovation, stimulating creativity, supporting risk-taking, and contributing to organizational vision, goals, and strategies
  • Knowledge of promoting a global perspective and co-facilitating Communities of Practice
  • Capability to ensure IT solutions meet business needs and negotiate/secure resources for long-range operational demands
  • Proficiency in overseeing project capital/RCE expenditures, ROI, expense/recovery plans, and cost reductions/avoidance
  • Experience managing IT investments and vendor partnership relationships
  • Ability to establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels of staff and external partners
  • Comprehensive people leadership skills: setting expectations, coaching, counseling, developing, evaluating, feedback, hiring, discipline, separations
  • Skills in determining skill set mix, managing team morale, promoting cohesive attitude, establishing staffing/resource plans (including outsourcing, offshoring, hot skills)

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and strategy for IT professionals supporting Quality Non-Complaints, LMS, DMS, and GES within Quality-Regulatory-Engineering Services BSS Organization
  • Create and manage Corporate Quality Non-Complaints, LMS, DMS, and GES Strategies and Architectural Framework in partnership with Divisional BRMs
  • Align department priorities, determine critical success factors, evaluate and pursue initiatives, investments, and opportunities based on strategic fit
  • Champion change and innovation, stimulate creativity in others, support change initiators and risk-takers
  • Understand and contribute to organization's vision, goals, and strategies; promote a Global Perspective and co-facilitate Communities of Practice for Quality, LMS, DMS, and GES
  • Ensure IT solutions meet business needs
  • Negotiate for and secure resources to meet long-range operational demands
  • Oversee project capital/RCE expenditures and ROI; develop, monitor, and meet expense and recovery plans; identify cost reduction/avoidance opportunities
  • Manage IT investments and vendor partnership relationships
  • Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with all levels of staff across the company and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures
