Responsibilities

Represent the company's interests to the US government as well as international governments and agencies (as a non-lawyer)
Assist with government contracts, domestic product preferences, gift and gratuity regulations, and former government employee restrictions
Participate in long-term efforts including policy shaping
Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of professional knowledge in own work discipline or field
Act as a best practices/quality resource
Stay informed on the latest functional developments in own area
Contribute to strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within scope of responsibility
Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; have working knowledge of competition and market differentiation factors
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks/problems impacting the function
