What You'll Be Doing:

Establishes, maintains and optimizes performance by:

  • Key financial business partner for assigned segment(s) executive and management team
  • Assisting in completing comprehensive forecasting and trend analysis packages
  • Monitoring performance indicators and highlighting trends for the business leaders
  • Investigating and explaining material discrepancies to manager and the business leaders
  • Assisting in completing budgets for the segment business leaders and managing the budget to actual performance
  • Assisting in building cost models for the company segment to evaluate product (and department) profit margins
  • Managing the execution of timely, accurate, and meaningful ad hoc reports on various financial and operational results as deemed necessary by the manager

Participates in corporate financial analysis and planning by:

  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions efforts, due diligence and analysis of target companies
  • Analyzing the Company’s services and proper pricing structure and price points
  • Conducting profit margin analysis on the Company, divisions and specific projects

Participates in change management initiatives to drive company objectives by:

  • Guiding the successful completion of accounting and finance projects
  • Providing support to the CFO regarding the financial affairs of the Company

Secondary Responsibilities:

Maintains Quality Service and Departmental Standards by:

  • Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
  • Assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards

Contributes to team effort by:

  • Working with internal staff to resolve issues
  • Exploring new opportunities to add value to organization and departmental processes
  • Helping others to achieve results
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Maintains Technical and Industry Knowledge by:

  • Attending and participating in applicable company-sponsored training

What We Look For:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • MBA / CPA a plus

Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive management experience in a financial planning and analysis environment required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience with M&A transactions
  • Experience working with foreign currency accounting
  • Experience dealing with large data manipulation
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to gather data needed for project completion
  • A strong initiative to take a new task and develop an organized plan to complete assigned projects
  • Strong to advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Access required
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations preferred
