Requirements

Strong experience building high-quality, scalable, and reliable systems
Proficiency in Go (primary language) and some Python
Ability to read and critique code in multiple languages (Go, Python, Unix shell, among others)
Experience with engineering best practices, including testing paradigms, peer code reviews, logging, and resilient architecture patterns
Strong interest in CrowdStrike's mission and willingness to engage with product teams and customers
Self-starter mindset with ability to take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, individually and in teams
Collaborative approach with focus on continual learning, providing technical guidance, and raising team standards

Responsibilities

Build and evolve cloud-based systems to detect and disrupt targeted attacks at global scale
Brainstorm, design, and build collaboratively with members across multiple teams
Build elegant and performant solutions for complex technical problems in Go
Read and critique code, provide technical guidance and feedback to team members
Focus on continual learning and raising the bar for yourself and teammates
Leverage engineering best practices to ensure clean, resilient code
Be an energetic self-starter, taking ownership of deliverables
Collaborate on determining root causes of production outages and implementing quality improvements to prevent them
